When I was a little girl, my mother walked down the lane with me to the farm where we got our milk and eggs. I knew the chickens that laid the eggs, the cow that gave us milk, and the farmer who farmed the land.

Joe and Jackie's farm operates on the same principles. If we are what we eat, then I want to know where my food comes from. Being on Joe and Jackie's farm is like being a little girl again, like being home.

I have been getting organic eggs and seasonal produce at Dreamcatcher Farm for several years now. The eggs are wonderful -- large, orange yolks and so healthy-looking compared to the grocery store offerings. It's such a treat to get wholesome, fresh eggs on a weekly basis!

I enjoy going to the farm stand to pick up my CSA share ... there's always a nice selection of fresh vegetables and fruit; a place to sit in the shade; glass of tea; good company; and the pleasure of seeing the fields my food came from. One of the joys of living in central PA!
